South Africa Buys Arms

A shipload of Czech arms was on its way to South Africa, the Johannesburg ‘Sunday Times” reported today. Even if Czechoslovakia refused to export more arms to South Africa after this shipment, South Africa would continue to buy Czech arms through agents in Britain and other parts of Europe, the newspaper said. Several South African gunsmith firms had placed large orders for Czech arms and were still awaiting delivery, the report added.
