Testing Station
More motorists are starting ‘ to make use of the new Christchurch City Council' vehicle testing station in Cranford street, the Traffic Superintendent (Mr J F. Thomas) said yesterday. There was still less waiting at the new station than at the old one in Lichfield street, although waiting times there, had been reduced, he said. During May, 10,123 warrants of fitness were issued in the city. Of these 6933 were issued by the Lichfield street station and 3190 by the Cranford street station. j
