Sign writing Award
Mr C. A. Sanderson, of Christchurch,' has been awarded first place in New Zealand in the trade certificate examination in signwriting. Last year Mr Sanderson won the award in the second qualifying examination in signwriting. The Nev Zealand Painters' and Decorators’ Prize Fund Board has again this year made awards to four young men who were the top apprentices in trade examinations at the end of 1962. The other three award winners were Messrs E. E. Clarke (Auckland), trade certificate examination in painting -nd decorating; E. A. Stinson (Wellington), second qualifying examination in painting and decorating: and J. A. Booth (Auckland), second qualifying examination in sign writing. Mr Sanderson is now In business on his own account.
