CANADIAN DEFICITS

A Federal Budget deficit of 709 million dollars last year—the second largest in Canada's history—was reported yesterday by the Finance Minister (Mr Walter Gordon). It was the sixth consecutive annual deficit of the former Conservative Government. The period saw more than 2901 million dollars deficit.
