Plea Changed By Court

AUCKLAND. June 11
A 15-year-old schoolgirl trapped a man she found in her bedroom at Thames by throwing blankets over him. jumping on him, and calling for help, Senior Sergeant G. A. Dallow said in the Magistrate’s Court at Auckland today. John Watene, aged 58, a workman, pleaded guilty to being a rogue and a vagabond in that he was found without lawful excuse in the house.
Mr F. McCarthy, S.M.. changed Watene's plea to not guilty and remanded the case to the Thames Court.
Mr R. Sanders produced a letter giving Watene permission to be in the house.
