More Wanted For Butter
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. June 12
A payment of 32d a pound, plus 5 per cent., for butterfat in the coming season will be sought by the dairy section of Federated Farmers. The section's annual conference today carried a Waikato remit incorporating cne from Auckland "that to emphasise the constantly worsening position of the dairy farmer and the urgent need in the interests of the country to stop the trend, that strong representations for the price asked be made to the price-fixing authority."
