AFTER-MARRIAGE SWlM.—Miss Mizuho Atahashi, after her marriage to a swimming coach, Mr Toshihiro Taguchi, entered the Nihonkaku swimming pool in Tokyo and, with her husband, swam a length as a gesture of their unity and love of swimming. The bridegroom stripped to his trunks, but the bride swam in her bridal dress and veil. The couple are shown starting their swim beneath a shower of rice thrown by some of Mr Taguchi’s swimming pupils.
