MONSTER SEARCH
130 Watch At Ness
(Special Crspat. N.ZP.A.) LONDON, June 7.
The great summer hunt has started in earnest at Loch Ness.
From first light until dusk this week 130 observers have been scanning the surface of the loch in a new effort to discover “the secret” of the 21-mile stretch of water. The latest and biggest expedition in' search of the monster is led by Mr David James, M.P., who already has made several attempts to locate it. A naturalist, Mr Peter Scott, is also in the area with two gliders making preliminary plans for daily inspection of the water from above. Land-based observers are stationed at seven main vantage points around the loch, all in radio communication with each other. Cameramen are waiting to record any phenomena.
