Petition For Constitution

ROTORUA, June 9.
A petition for a written constitution and the restoration of a second chamber in Parliament, was presented to Mr H. R. Lap wood, member of Parliament for Rotorua, at the end of the Constitutional Society convention in Rotorua on Saturday evening. The petition w-as said to contain 10,000 signatures of people in Bay of Plenty. The presentation was made by Mr J. B. Donald, of Auckland. president of'the society
