Tried To Land At Mangere
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 10
The Ministry of Works reported a light aircraft to the Civil Aviation Administration after it attempted to land at the Mangere Airport today. “We have always been concerned that somebody might try to be the first to land on the new airport,” said a Ministry of Works official tonight. The aircraft -had looked as if it was going to land twice —on Saturday and this morning. The Ministry of Works has taken the registration markings and the plane has been reported.
