RUNHOLDER’S DEATH
Inquest Opened At Timaru (From Our Own Reporter) TIMARU, June 9. An inquest into the death of Thomas Douglas Wright, a 48-year-old sheepfarmer, of Dansey Pass, who disappeared from his home on October 11. 1961. and whose body was found in rough country in the Kakanui Hills west of Oamaru on March 21 of this year, was part heard by the Timaru Coroner (Mr E. G. Bradley) in the Coroner’s Court.
Evidence was given by Dr. L. A. Faigan, pathologist at the Timaru Hospital, who was cross-examined at some length by Mr B. J. Petrie, for the relatives.
Sergeant R. H. McMurray represented the police.
