June 9 The Japanese Suzukis were vesterday established as firm favourites to win next week’s international 125 c.c. class Isle of Man TT. races when the New Zealander, Hugh Anderson, beat the lap record with a speed of 90.35 miles an hour. Anderson, who came within five seconds of the record on Friday, knocked 3 6sec off the previous best set last year by Luigi Taveri. of Switzerland, on a Japanese Honda. It now looks as if the rival Suzuki concern will end the Honda domination of this race in the last two years. Anderson went round the 375-mile circuit in 25min 3.4 see The next fastest in this class was Frank Perris, of London, on another Suzuki at 89.83 miles an hour followed by Taveri or. a Honda at 88 58 miles an hour
