Body Recovered
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 15. The body of an Auckland man, the second North Islander to lose his life in a fall in the Wakatipu district within a fortnight, was recovered late on Friday night. He was Gordon Frederick Smith, of Ta-kapuna. Mr Smith was prospecting for gold with two companions when he fell 300 ft to his death in the Flood burn river early on Friday afternoon.
