JOURNEY TO HONG KONG
Former Ferry Leaves (N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, April 15 To the cheers of a big crowd, the Zetai Star, formerly the Stewart Island ferry. Matai, sailed out of Bluff harbour this afternoon bound for Port Chalmers on the first stage of her journey to Hong Kong Bedecked with flags and flying the Panamanian flag—the vessel is registered in Panama—the Zetai Star left soon after 2 p.m. Watching the vessel sail was Mr A. Hamilton, a member of the syndicate which sold the vessel to the Hong Kong Shipping Company Ltd., son after buying it from the Government. The Zetai Star will arrive in Hong Kong in a month.
