DEBUTANTE BALL
4 Oxford Girls Presented Four debutantes were pre. rented to the member of Parid ament for the district (Mr H. L. Pickering) and Mrs Pickering at a debutante ball held recently by the Oxford School and Parent-Teacher Aaeooiation. The girls were presented by Mrs A. C. H. Weavers, who had trained them for the occaeton. They were:—Mieses lunette Millar, Marion Bush. Allison McFarlane, and Wendy Horiler. The girls were presented with posies by Mrs E. R. McCSatehey, who presented Mrs Pickering with a spray of flowers. After the debutante waltz, the debu-tanes presented Mesdames A. C. H. Weavers and R. Thompson with gifts in appreciation of their help in preparing for the ball. Messrs B. Barrett and H. Pester acted as Masters of Ceremonies.
