Rail-Car Hits Stalled Car
(N.Z. Press Association) PALM. NORTH, March 28. A motorist leaped from his stalled car today only a second before it was hit by a rail-car on the Ruahine street crossing at Palmerston North. He is Henry Joseph Lepper, of 51 McKenzie road, Milson. The car was badly damaged.
Premises Entered. The premises of Colyer Watson and Company, Ltd., exporters, Orbell street, were entered on Tuesday night, and £8 and 80 rounds of .303 ammunition were stolen.
