LOCAL SALE OF BUTTER
Discussion By Caucus (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 28. The Cabinet will probably decide on Monday the price to be paid producers for butter used in New Zealand. The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said tonight, that an all-day meeting of Government caucus had had a full discussion on the recent representations of the Dairy Board.
The dairy industry seeks a price that would return producers a price of 36jd a lb butterfat equivalent.
