Obituary MISS E. GEDDIS
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March. 28. One of the most colourful New Zealand women journalists, Miss Esme Geddis, died suddenly in Wellington on Monday, seven years after her retirement as editor and managing director of the now defunct “Free Lance.” Miss Geddis was the daughter of the late Mr J. M. Geddis, editor and governing director of the “FreeLance” from 1900 for 36 years.
