SHELL AWARDS FOR 1963
Two Auckland Graduates
Mr C. L. Cook, of Auckland, has been awarded the Shell post-graduate scholarship for 1963. Mr Cook intends to jtudy the theories of elementary particles at the Imperial College, London. He hopes to gain a doctorate. *
A second bursary has been awarded to Mr J. G. Codldnge, also of Auckland. Mir Collinge intends to read for the B.C.L degree at UniveTßity College, Oxlord, Mir Cook attended the Howiok District High School and the Auckland Grammar School. In 1960 he received a special merit award for the high standard he achieved in his B.Sc. degree examinations at Auckland University. He completed his M.Sc. last year.
Mr Collinge attended Paeroa College and the Hastings Boys* High School. He obtained his LL.B, degree at Auckland University. Both awards carry a grant of £B5O for two years.
