Administration To Be Altered (N.Z Press Association) DUNEDIN, February 15. The number of practising doctors in New Zealand is now nearly 3000 and the demands on the profession’s ethical organisation are greater than 10 years ago when there were only 2000. The problem was discussed by the annual general meeting of the New Zealand branch of the British Medical Association this morning. A spokesman said it was intended to revise the constitution regarding the administration of medical ethics.

Dr. P. J. Fogarty, of Blenheim, was elected presidentelect of the New Zealand branch, and will be installed in office in 12 months’ time at Blenheim. Dr. J. O. Mercer, of Wellington. was re-elected honorary editor of the “New Zealand Medical Journal.” and will begin his twenty-fifth year in the position.
