Mr James Roberts To Retire
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 13. Mr James Roberts, once widely known as the “uncrowned king of New Zealand,” is to be bidden farewell shortly on his retirement from the secretaryship of the South Island Waterside Workers' Federation. The joint hosts at the function in Wellington on February 19 will be the federation’s officers and the Waterfront Industry Commissioner (Mr A. E. Bockett).
