Labour Short At Bluff
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL, January 31 Four hundred and fifty more men are needed to work ship* at present in Bluff. Today 382 men were working in gangs, but several of the 11 ships tied up were idle. The severe shortage of labour was today rated the worst in a long time by Waterfront Industry Commission officials They said the shortage could last for some weeks.
