Oxford Terrace
Sir,—Soon now, our gracious Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, will be in Christchurch. They will see our beautiful public and private gardens. They will see much progress in a fast-, growing area. Many things wiU no doubt surprise them, one In particular being the all-day parked vehicles on busy Oxford terrace along which they pass. It is t|me that the city council traffic committee, and their new superintendent of traffic, moved with the New Year, and studied city traffic flow and public safety, instead of allowing parked vehicles to block smooth traffic flow on this busy route.—Yours, etc., ONWARD January 30, 1983
