Pill Withdrawn By Firm
(N.ZJ’.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, December 16. A drug firm has withdrawn from the market a [fill taken by expectant mothers for “morning sickness.” The firm, Organon Laboratories, said there was a remote chance the pill might cause stillborn or deformed babies. A statement by the firm was published yesterday in the "British Medical Journal.” The pill, called duactin, contains pyridoxine, which a doctor recently said should be investigated.
