Rubbish In The Avon
Sir,—l am glad to see your correspondent, Lee Dougherty, drawing attention to the grass clippings that are being thrown into the Avon. I have been watching my neighbour with disgust, assiduously committing this crime. I wonder if he has ever given a thought to the state of our beautiful Avon if all we property owners bordering the river were to indulge in this easy manner of disposing of glass clippings.—Yours, etc. CONSIDERATE.'
