EIGHTS RECORD RETAINED
Canadians Unbeaten In Four Events (N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, Dec. 16. A superb exhibition of power rowing gave the Canadian eight a decisive three-length victory over a gallant young Aramoho crew in the feature race at the Wanganui Rowing Association’s Jury Cup regatta on Saturday. The Canadians thus ended their New Zealand tour with an unbeaten record of four wins in the eight-oar events. Union defeated the Canadians in the senior international fours event, finishing strongly to win by threequarters of a length. Waikato became the first club outside Wanganui to win the Jury Cup. Competition for the trophy was extended to outside clubs two years ago. Aramoho, the winner last year, was runner-up to Waikato.
