VICEREGAL VISITORS
Blossom Moves To Slipway (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 16. Blossom, the visiting sea elephant, is still drawing hundreds of curious onlookers but they had to search for him today. Instead of being at his usual patch of beach at Oriental Bay, Blossom was basking on a slipway at the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club’s boat harbour. Every once in a while he gaily disparted himself among the moored boats. Among his visitors today was the Governor-General. (Sir Bernard Fergusson) Lady Fergusson and their son Geordie. They went to the boat harbour after attending a service at All Saint's Church, Kilbiraie.
