Feleka Picked To Win

Feleka, one of the top sprinters in Otago and Southland, has sound prospects of returning to the wining list in the President’s Handicap at the Beaumont Racing Club's meeting tomorrow. Feleka proved his ability to handle the track when he scored easily in April. He failed in his two races at the New Zealand Cup meeting, but at his previous start he outclassed his opponents in a slxfurlong sprint at Wyndham. The Waimate-tralned Flaxman, which has a pull In the weights of 231 b from Feleka may be his strongest rival. Flaxman ran two good races for a fourth and a third at the Southland meeting and is in the right order to feature in the finish.
The best of the others may by Athenree One. which had a good record tn hack company and appears to be approaching iop form. The double will be on the W. B. Naylor Handicap and the Tuapeka Hack Handicap. A likely combination may be Grand Prix and Beginner’s Luck. The prospects are for a good track.
