WATER SAFETY DISPLAY
Demonstrations Next Week Demonstrations of water safety will be held in the Papanui Swimming Club’s pool Ln Winters rood next week. The demonstrations will be held by the club in conjunction with the physical education branch of the Education Department, to mark waiter safety week. Safe - swimming practices for small groups or individuals in isolated conditions, and procedures in case of emergency will be the theme of the displays.
Admission to the detnonstrations, to be held on Tuesday and Thursday, will be tree. Sixteen persons lost their lives swimming in isolated oonditiona in October.
