NEW CANADIAN STAMPS
Nine To Be Issued Nine new stamps are to be issued by the Canadian Post Office next year. In February the one and four cent denominations of the new Queen Elizabeth II series will be put on sale, and the two and three cent denominations will go on sale in May, A new 15-cent stamp depicting a flight of four Canada geese will be released in September and a new one-dollar stamp illustrating Canadian export markets will go on sale in June. Three commemorative stamps will also be issued. One will honour the explorer Sir Martin Frobisher, one the birth of Sir Casimir Gzowski, a former aide-de-camp to Queen Victoria, and one to commemorate the bicentennial of the opening of the first post offices in Canada.
