Inter-School Sports
The Christchurch Technical College won only the Rugby match when it played the Hutt Valley Memorial Technical College in the annual sports fixture at Ensors road yesterday. Scorers for Christchurch in its 18-0 win. were, R. Raistrick <2>. P. Zervos, and J. Martin, tries: P. Riddell kicked three conversions Tire soccer match was drawn 3-3. scorers for Christchurch being G. Smith (2) and P. Pui. C. Hastings scored twice, and P. Overdune once, for Hutt Valley. The hockey match was won by Hutt Valley, the final score being 5-2. W. Watkins played a fine game and netted four goals for the northern team. I. Ganda and A. Ganda scored for Christchurch. M. Jones ( Christchurch' was first man home in the cross-country event, but Hutt Valley won by the convincing margin of 130 points to 88. J Wally 'Hutt Valley) finished second in the race.
