Sir, —The explanation by the Hornby County Town Committee chairman appears very weak. If he took a look at Garvin’s road he would see that the sealing does not go to property boundaries, and i.e must know that there are no big live front fences in this age. As for a little extra maintenance, if any. no ratepayer minds that if it does away with hazards, and any future services will be paid for by us ratepayers, also. — Yours, etc., RATEPAYER.
