Use Of Polio Vaccine
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. August 1. Nearly 3,250,000 doses of Sabin oral polio vaccine have been used or are on order by the Department of Health since its introduction of this vaccine at the end of last year, the department reports Five years' Salk vaccine used amounted to 3.137.000 doses. Dr. D P. Kennedy Director of Public Health, said more Sabin was on order for the adult campaign starting next month, and the success of this would depend on the co-operation of the people themselves. It would still be necessary for adults, who might have previously received Salk, to have Sabin.
