FORMER SHADES HOTEL
£30,000 Bid Not Accepted
The commercial site and building at 110 Hereford street, formerly occupied by the Shades Hotel, was passed in at £30.000 when offered at public auction yesterday. The property was offered on account of the trustees of the estate of M. T. Hall. The site is of 30 perches, with a frontage of about 37ft. A right-of-way leads to vacant land at the rear of the building. The building, which faces north, was designed as a hotel but could be used as office accommodation without extensive alterations. The Government valuation of the property is £32.800.
