Botanic Gardens Fence
Sir,—lt is evident that those who desire a rapid, headturning view while motoring past the gardens forget that such distraction may cause road accidents. Have they [ever sat for peace and quiet, rest and study, in the gardens? From the prevalent r.or“-east winds, the only shelter is a fence. Those who sit do so to enjoy the sunshine. The noise of trucks might be slightly deadenea by fences, which is also helpful to rest or study. Are the gardens for recuperation or for staring at en route?— Yours, etc.. POINT OF VIEW.
