Children's Rights
Sir, —I agree with every word of "Today’s Kiwi” in this matter. The mass stupidity inherent in human nature is only too obvious to anyone better educated than "Tomorrow's Kiwi,” and as time goes on will manifest itself Tn more horrific forms of mutual destruction than the present generation has known ‘Tomorrow's Kiwi.” "Angry Young Men” and all the rest of today's more exhibitionist types of juvenile have been reared in the new tradition of “free expression,” and can therefore proclaim the obvious at the top of their voices without fear of ridicule. But if they are to amount to more, eventually, than their forbears they could make a good start by creating a few vacancies in Borstal institutions.—Yours, etc, BOADICEA. June 14, 1962.
