NEW EGG PRICES
Medium Grade Up 3d (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 25. Egg prices throughout New Zealand will be increased from tomorrow by 3d a dozen for medium size only. The price of all other grades has been left unchanged. The new prices, as announced by the Egg Marketing Authority, are:— Canterbury and Otago.— Large 5s Bd. standard 5s 2d, medium 4s sd, pullet 2s lid, mixed 4s lid. Nelson and Marlborough.— Large 5s lOd, standard 5s 4d, medium 4s 7d, pullet 2s lid, mixed 4s lid. Westland. — Large 6s, standard 5s 6d, medium 4s 9d. pullet 2s lid, mixed 5s Id. Cartoned eggs are Id a dozen extra.
