Transport Licensing Decisions

An application by LaviscaWardrop, Ltd., for an amendment to its continuous goods service licence for exemption from the 40-mile rail restriction for the cartage of fibrous plaster in the No. 9 transport licensing district was refused by the No. 9 Transport Licensing Authority (Mr J. Robert Lawrence Morison (Mr J. R. Williams) was granted the transfer of a continuous goods service licence from Edwin George Grant, of Little River. Plane Recalled. An R.N.Z.A.F. Bristol Freighter serving with the Far East Air Force has been recalled to Malaya from Wbenuapai because ot the unstable political situation in Southeast Asia.—(P.A.)
