Soccer CONFIRMED PLANS

New Caledonia To Tour

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 16. The national soccer team of New Caledonia will replace the Brazilian club. Olaria, in a tour of New Zealand at the end of this month and the beginning of next month.

Arrangements for the New Caledonian team were confirmed in a telephone call from there earlv this a' noon. The same arrangements as for the Brazilians will apply, although plans are being made for one extra game to be played Announcing the arrangements, the chairman of the New Zealand Football Association publicity committee. Mr O. Hilton, said the team of 18 players and two officials would arrivd in Auckland on May 24 by a special flight. The team would play Auckland on May 26. the Western League in Palmerston North on May 28 (the additional game), Otago on May 30, New Zealand at Christchurch on June 2, and New Zealand at Wellington on June 4, The New Caledonian team consisted of Frenchmen. The team played attractive football.
