LEICESTER, May 16.
Pakistan fought back to draw with Leicestershire yesterday after losing half its second innings wickets for 23 runs. This was the secohd time in the match that the Pakistanis had survived a batting crisis.
In their first innings they lost four men for 14 before recovering for a total of 205. Mushtaq Mohammed and Imtiaz Ahmed were Pakistan’s heroes yesterday, bold, ing on for 70 grim minutes against hostile bowling to take the score to five for 64 at the close.
The Pakistanis were set to make 225 for victory after Leicestershire had declared at six for 238.
