Auckland, Otago and Lincoln scored first innings victories in the second series of matches in the New Zealand Universities’ cricket tournament played on Thursday. Auckland is the only team to have scored two wins in two games. Scores:—

Bowlers For India (N.Z .P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) KINGSTON (Jamaica). Apl. 20 Four West Indies fast bowlers have accepted contracts to play and coach in India. Tne contracts were offered to improve Indian batsmen’s performance against pace bowling.
The four West Indians are C. Watson, L. King. C. Wright, and C. Stayers.
Third Operation For Contractor
(N .Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) BOMBAY, April 19.
Nari Contractor, India’s cricket captain, who received head injuries when struck while batting against Barbados last month, said yesterday he was to have a third operation in India. Contractor said his left eye was affected and he had spells of dizziness.
