Legal Advice Followed
The Halswell County Council on Thursday decided to appoint Mr R. G Howes as the county health inspector under all but one provision recommended by the Medical Officer of Health. The exception was the Water Supply Protection Regulations. 1961 which would give the inspector power to act as engineer. The council’s decision was in accordance with recommendations made by a solicitor.
