CURRENT NOTES
Club Espanol.—A talk on the Moorish influence on Soanish culture was given by Mr J. J. Saunders at a recent meeting of the Club Espanol in Christchurch. Specially invited guests included Mr and Mrs Antonio Losada. of Madrid. Mr Losada is a Spanish classical guitarist end a graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Madrid. His wife, the former Miss C.. Jones, was a member of the Lulsillo Spanish Dance Theatre. Mr M. B Lorittee. president of the club, welcomed the guests in Spanish. A translation was given by a member of th? club.
