WARNING BY CHINA
Territorial Claim (N .Z.P .A.-Reuter-Copyright) TOKYO, April 17. China issued one of its most strongly worded “serious warnings” to the United States yesterday, alleging new and graver provocations, the British United Press reported. The latest “serious warn-ing’’—-the one hundred and ninety-seventh since the series began in August, 1958 —claimed that a United States destroyer intruded into Chinese territorial waiters in the Yellow Sea. Peking Radio said: ’TTiis obviously is not an ordinary voyage, but a deliberate provocation to the Chinese people. This has more glaringly exposed the piratical features of the Kennedy Administration of the United States."
