Commonwealth Society
Membership of the Royal Commonwealth Society was still declining, the president (Mr D. E. Ames) reported at the annual meeting. He appealed for an increased effort by members to rectify the position. Officers elected were: president, Mr D. E. Ames; vice-presidents, Mesdames B. E. Goulden, J. H. Powell, Messrs C. L. Bacon, L. C. C. Spooner; secretary-treasurer. Mr H. H. P. Ballantyne; council, Mesdames J. Arthur, P. D. M. Walker. D. E. Hattaway, Messrs B. SethSmith, R. J. G. Collins, W. S. Mac Gibbon, J. R. Masters. C. Thomas. R. A. Morgan, J. F. McLaughlin.
