Rain Holds Up West Indies (N 2P -A .-Reuter—Copyright) KINGSTON (Jamaica), April 18 West Indies were in sight of victory, and a clean sweep in the series, as they entered the last day of the fifth and final test against India today. India was resuming 227 runs behind with five second innings’ wickets left Scores were, West Indies 253 and 283, India 178 and 131 for five. Fine medium-pace bowling by Sobers caused India to slump from 37 for two to 86 for five during yesterday’s play, which was cut short by rain. An unbeaten stand of 45 by Manjrekar (36 not out) and Umrigar checked the slide. Umrigar, who was suffering from fibrositis, had a runner. Mehra (39) and Borde (26) put on 65 in 90 minutes for the third wicket before Sobers had Mehra caught at the wicket Scoreboard:
