Long Jump Record.— One New Zealand record was broken at the athletics meeting between the touring Australian Universities, Waikato and Auckland at Seddon Park, Hamilton, D. S. Norris (Auckland), competing in the senior long jump reached 24ft 5 >4in which bettered his own New Zealand record by lain.
