"The Press” Special Service TtMAJHJ, April 11. In the Geraldine county breeders' calf sate, fully 9w calves were offered in the Temuka saleyards yesterday for the second annual sate. Far the most cart the calves came for--1 ward in excellent condition and were very even. A large number of graziers followed the sale and sound values were realised for all breeds. Values were: - Aberdeen Angus steer calves, £lO to £2l; heifer calves, £9 to £ll. .Aberdeen Angus-Hereford cross steer calves, £l2 to £2l 10s: heifer calves. '£lo 10s to £ll Us. Shorthorn steer calves, £9 to £2O; heifer calves. £8 to £l3 15s. Hereford steer calves, £8 to £l5 ss, heifer calves. £8 to £l7.
