Police Inspector Bidden Farewell
Chief Inspector J. B McLean was bidden farewell yesterday at a function in his honour by the Christchurch Police Social Club. Chief Inspector McLean, who has recently been promoted to the rank, will leave to take up his appointment of officer in charge of the Rotorua Police district on March 17.
Chief Superintendent P. Kearney made the presentation of a dinner set on behalf of the social club.
