Brussels Sprouts
The first of the new season’s brussels sprouts, from Stirling, sold in Christchurch produce markets yesterday for 45s a case. Other vegetable prices were: Cabbages 3s to 4s a case, pumpkins up to £1 a sack, onions up to 22s 6d a 50-pound bag, carrots up to 10s a case.
